The Michigan International Camporee, hosted by the Chief Okemos Council, Boy Scouts of America, is the largest council-run multinational Scouting event in North America.  Once every four years, contingents of Scouts, both all boys and mixed boys and girls, from over 20 countries, gather for 8 days of international friendship and fellowship at the Chief Okemos Council’s Northwoods Scout Reservation.  To learn more about past Michigan International Camporees, download the participant handbook, visit the photo gallery, or follow the links on the left.  Dates and fees in those links are from MIC 2008. We expect that fees for MIC 2012 will be announced by the end of 2010.

The next Michigan International Camporee is scheduled for Sunday, July 22, to Sunday, July 29, 2012, with home stays for international contingents with mid-Michigan families the week before.  You are invited to become part of our Michigan International Camporee 2012 Steering Committee. We meet regularly at Asbury United Methodist Church, 2200 Lake Lansing Road, in Lansing.
